with one smile

This is so neat.

Last night, I used my parents’ computer to print off a line of text to cut up and use in one of my paintings.

It turns out that my parents only use recycled paper, which I had failed to remember, so there’s always something printed on the other side.

I cut out my line of text, flipped it over to apply the matte medium, and lo and behold: a message was waiting for me.

I love the double entendre of the sentence: it’s either asking whether she gets what she’s been after this whole time, or it’s asking whether or not she has yet to realize what it is she wants.  Or both.
